TREETS: HAPPY CEREAL BARS

Responsive Webpage

“Treets” began as a passion project/hobby of mine many years ago. I did these treats for my kids, and sold some to my neighbors.

Although I’m not selling them anymore, I learned a lot by taking the pictures for the products. Since I already had the logo and pictures, I just made sure the webpage was consistent with what I wanted to convey as well and responsive and adaptable for desktop, tablet and mobile use. Fun and diversity for a different product were my main goal, an I think it was achieved with the colors and elements used to decorate. Besides the fun factor, webpage is responsive, functional and easy to navigate.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Moms with kids, creative bakers and foodies.

REQUIREMENTS:

Responsive webpages:

  • Desktop: home and recipe page

  • Tablet: home page

  • Mobile: home page

Look & Feel Goal

Because I already had the logo and pictures of these project, I knew the direction I wanted to take. It is meant to be fun and playful to cater to bakers and newbies out there that want to have fun with easy to get ingredients. The pictures were an important part because they show a non-traditional way to use cereal in a creative way.

Reflection

This was such a learning curve. Setting up our webpages and figuring out what would work for them to be responsive was totally new to me. I really liked working with Invision and seeing how our pages would respond in real time. It was A LOT of work and lots of tiny details had to be thought throughout for it to turn out how I imagined. I really liked this project because personal hobby was involved, and seeing how it could turn out in real life was very cool. I really liked that I could use my own pictures as well, which was a task in itself.
